Coaching and Mentoring are the practices of providing positive support and positive feedback while offering occasional advice to an individual in order to help them recognise ways in which they can improve the effectiveness of their business and working practices. They are excellent ways to attain a certain work behaviour that will improve leadership, employee accountability, teamwork, sales, communication, goal setting, stress management, strategic planning and more.

Although both coaching and mentoring utilise the same set of skills and techniques, the main difference between the two is that a coach will help an individual to find their own solutions to improve performance; however, a mentor can make direct suggestions to the individual that can lead to improvements.
