Programme Overview
The Level 3 ILM Leadership and Management Qualifications are ideal for those new and aspiring first line managers with no prior formal training. These qualifications are designed to develop those with management responsibilities who are seeking to build their management skills and knowledge.
There are no formal entry requirements for this programme, however learners are expected to be working in a role where they have management responsibilities so they can apply the skills immediately to gain the full learning.
Duration
The Level 3 Leadership and Management Qualifications will take 40 – 130 hours to complete, depending on which qualification courses you choose.
To gain these qualifications we recommend the following:
Award: A concise qualification requiring 4 credit points, which equates to 2-3 courses.
Certificate: A broader qualification requiring 13 credit points, which equates to 5-7 courses.
Choosing your qualification and associated courses will be discussed with us upon booking.
Assessment & Certification
Practical work based written assignments, for each course, form the formal assessment for these qualifications.
Certification is granted upon completion of the full guided hours for the chosen units and completing and passing each unit assignment.
Upon successful completion of the qualification you will be awarded with a digital badge, an e-certificate and a physical certificate from City & Guilds ILM.
I found the ILM training informative and well structured. The sessions remained engaging throughout and the trainers were great at ensuring everyone is learning together. I have been able to implement many new skills into my work and feel as though the insight this has given me will benefit me for years to come.
