Programme Overview

The Level 4 ILM Leadership and Management Qualifications are designed for new and aspiring middle managers, including department heads, regional team leaders and project managers. Level 4 is about consolidating your existing management skills, building knowledge in specialist areas and developing capabilities and personal awareness you need to be a leader.

There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications, however learners are expected to be working in a role where they have management responsibilities so they can draw on experiences and continue to build on these management foundations.

Duration

The Level 4 Leadership and Management Qualifications will take 50 – 130 hours to complete, depending on which qualification courses you choose.

To gain these qualifications we recommend the following:

Award: A concise qualification requiring 5 credit points, which equates to 2-3 courses.
Certificate: A broader qualification requiring 13 credit points, which equates to 4-6 courses.

Choosing your qualification and associated courses will be discussed with us upon booking.

Assessment & Certification

Practical work based written assignments, for each course, form the formal assessment for these qualifications.

Certification is granted upon completion of the full guided hours for the chosen units and completing and passing each unit assignment.

Upon successful completion of the qualification you will be awarded with a digital badge, an e-certificate and a physical certificate from City & Guilds ILM.
