The Level 5 ILM Leadership and Management Qualifications are designed for the practicing middle manager, department head, project manager and senior manager. Level 5 Qualification's purpose is to improve performance through developing your ability to lead, motivate and inspire.
The qualifications are made up of a broad range of units covering skills in six core areas – working with people, managing yourself and personal skills, providing direction, facilitating innovation and change, achieving results, and using resources. The flexibility in unit choice allows the qualification to be tailored to meet the needs of the individual and employer.
There are no formal entry requirements for these qualifications, however learners are expected to be working in a role where they have sufficient relevant management experience and responsibilities and have had some previous management and leadership training. These qualifications require prior experience for the learning to be effective, efficient and successful.
The Level 5 Leadership and Management Qualifications will take 60 – 130 hours to complete, depending on which qualification courses you choose.
To gain these qualifications we recommend the following:
Award: A concise qualification requiring 6 credit points, which equates to 2 courses.
Certificate: A broader qualification requiring 13 credit points, which equates to 3-4 courses.
Choosing your qualification and associated courses will be discussed with us upon booking.
Assessment & Certification
Practical work based written assignments, for each course, form the formal assessment for these qualifications.
Certification is granted upon completion of the full guided hours for the chosen units and completing and passing each unit assignment.
Upon successful completion of the qualification you will be awarded with a digital badge, an e-certificate and a physical certificate from City & Guilds ILM.
