Matthew is another of our Diamonds who worked through the bespoke management programme of consecutive Apprenticeships covering Warehousing and Storage, Business Improvement Techniques and Team Leading.  From Apprentice to Operations Supervisor, we asked Matthew how his training has influenced where he is today:

"The training I received from Jewel was carefully planned and tailored to me at each stage of my apprenticeship.  Every year, I was given specific industry relevant training based on the current work environment at that time.  This training ensured I was skilled and competent, but more importantly gave me the confidence when progressing to the next year and stage of my career.  I found this continued support highly motivating and very helpful as whenever I progressed into my next position I always felt I had been prepared to succeed."

"Undertaking a Jewel Apprenticeship, with one to one sessions, workshops, and supportive mentoring I gained invaluable industry experience as well as interpersonal skills.  My apprenticeship took me worldwide and I was able to use the skills I had practiced in the UK to train and develop other work forces.  I am now an Operations Supervisor in Chicago, Illinois.  Looking after a team of 35 people for a global logistics company."
